A Local Specialty
An odd combination famous throughout Bogota: hot chocolate and cheese. The cheese is cut and dropped into the hot chocolate, where it stays for a minute or so. You then remove the rapidly melting cheese with a spoon and eat it, often with the accompanying bread. The resulting combination is not unpleasant, but I prefer the ingredients unmixed.
Graffiti
The city of Bogota is covered in graffiti, more so than any place I've ever been. Much of it is actually quite impressive, carefully planned pieces full of color . This church, however, seems to have been shot at with paint-balls by some lazy deviant, rather than used as a canvas by a talented street artist.
